Fuxi and Nuwa are regarded as the primordial ancestors of the Chinese. Inspired by phoenixes on paulownia, Fuxi cut wood for the body and twisted cords for strings, composing tunes to bless folks. This is the seven-string Fuxi-style guqin.
Made of century-old Chinese fir with traditional tile ash and raw lacquer, it took two years of handcraft. Well-played qins are precious, as wood gains mature resonance after long-term vibration.
The video plays the classic guqin tune Flowing Water, with clear and elegant tones.
Display it in living room, bedroom or study to upgrade home decor; you can also play music anytime you like.
